The sunny slopes below Kunozan are famous for ishigaki-ichigo — strawberries grown on stone-walled terraces facing the sea. In season (roughly winter to spring) the greenhouses along the Ichigo Line offer all-you-can-pick. A sweet, weather-proof stop that pairs naturally with the Kunozan/Nihondaira taxi loop.
