The short version
Port of Fuji has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no display ads. We never sell or share personal data. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful, and links to our booking partner carry a tracking code so the partner can credit us for a referral.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies and records things like the pages you view, the questions you open in an FAQ, which tour cards you see, your approximate country and city, your device type and how you arrived. We only ever see totals, never individuals. Automated browsers and test visits are not counted.
You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. The site works the same either way. Google explains its use of this data in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Booking links
When you follow a link to Viator (a Tripadvisor company) or GetYourGuide and book a tour, the partner may set its own cookies to credit us with a small commission. It costs you nothing and never decides what we recommend. Once you are on the partner's site, its own privacy policy applies.
Maps
Maps on this site load their tiles from OpenFreeMap, which receives your IP address the way any web server does. There is no Google Maps embed and no location tracking.
If you email a question or a correction, we use your address only to reply. We never publish your email.
